The North Carolina Railroad runs straight through downtown Mebane alongside US HWY 70. Today, the Carolinian Train 80 came through town on time, led by P42DC number 39. Consist was similar, if not the same, as seen a few days earlier.

Weather can always make for interesting train photos, and fog is no exception. A low fog remained around 10 AM today when Carolinian Train 80 was due through Mebane. Just slightly behind schedule, P42DC number 39 led a fairly typical 7-car Amfleet consist.
